Alison Sampson

Alison Sampson is an artist and writer from North Yorkshire working in London, UK, currently on an unannounced series for Image Comics with Redacted, and on Redacted with Redacted. Work is mainly in the field of horror, fantasy, adventure, and the almost-real and includes adapting Stephen and Owen King's Sleeping Beauties, The Department of Truth with James Tynion IV, writing (and drawing) Wolverine for Marvel, Hit Girl with Peter Milligan, EC Comics with Matt Kindt and Michael Conrad, Hellboy with Mike Mignola and Chris Roberson, Winnebago Graveyard with Steve Niles and more, including several Eisner and other award nominated team books.

Alison also draws book and comic covers and illustrations for publishers as wide ranging as DC Comics, Boom Studios, Dark Horse, AWA, Mad Cave, the Hayward Gallery, Subterranean Press and The Guardian newspaper.

When not drawing she likes reading sci-fi and will try and get you to take a tree off her hands.
