Become a Thought Bubble Patron

Thought Bubble Festival is looking for Patrons. Finances in the events industry have been challenging, and after a difficult few years of unsuccessful funding bids, alongside increasing costs, we need some extra financial support to help us maintain and develop our work.

Each year, Thought Bubble brings thousands of comics fans and creators into Yorkshire for our week-long festival which culminates in a huge two-day Comic Convention. Founded in 2007, we have since built a solid reputation within the comics industry; with our outreach work, our international guests, and a young, diverse audience that bring cultural and economic value into the region, community and industry as a whole.

We pride ourselves on keeping comic creators at the heart of everything we do. A space where they can sell and showcase their work, take part in panels and workshops to promote themselves,  meet new and old fans, and  network with peers, publishers, and beyond. We’d humbly say that we’re a staple of the comics community within the UK; one which brings people from all over the world to celebrate comics.

Don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere, but Patrons’ support will ensure that we can continue to create a festival that spotlights comics and uplifts so much of our amazing community. Interested in seeing details of what we did last year? Download our 2025 Event Report.
