Vol 2 Songs of the Dark Sirens a sequel to the history making and ground breaking SHOOK! A Black Horror Anthology from Second Sight Publishing and Dark Horse Comics, I am historically the first Black woman to be published by Caliber Comics in its 35 year history. I am also a comic book creator. I am a representative advocate for diversity and representation in comics for women and those from marginalized groups. I have contractually written for Leviathan Labs and been commissioned to write for Ahoy Comics, Interpop Comics ,Advent Comics (Epiphany Engine), Fairsquare Graphics and Mad Cave Studios. As a native of the former British colony of Guyana, I reside in West London in the United Kingdom. I hold a PhD in Ancient Monetary Systems. My tastes are eclectic; I like to listen to rock, metal, opera, cosmic jazz and funk when I write (depending on the scenes). Growing up in a country rife with superstition, I have a love for old comics, mystery buildings and especially all things supernatural, cosmic, esoteric and weird. Comic creator of: Silk Cotton, the Caribbean Supernaturals. Carmine, Vic Argas Species Negotiator, Titan and WIP Old Fadama.
