John Lees
John Lees is an award-winning writer from Glasgow, Scotland. He is best known for his work on folk horror mystery AND THEN EMILY WAS GONE, with artist Iain Laurie, coming-of-age horror comedy THE NASTY, featuring artist Adam Cahoon, and hard-boiled Glasgow crime saga SINK, drawn by Alex Cormack.
John’s other credits include HOTELL, THE CRIMSON CAGE, THE STANDARD, GRAWLGORE & SHANKS, MOUNTAINHEAD, and a story for TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES UNIVERSE. His latest project is ORLA!, a romcom/creature feature mash-up, working with artist Sally Cantirino.
