Lewis Hancox

Lewis Hancox is an author, illustrator and comedy content creator from North West UK.

His graphic novel memoirs 'Welcome to St Hell' and 'Escape from St Hell', about growing up as a trans teen misfit, are published by Scholastic UK and US.

Lewis has built a committed social media following (1.5m TikTok, 800k Youtube and 500k Instagram). He's mainly known for his comedic impersonations and animations of his angsty teen emo self in the early 2000s, along with his Mum and mates as they learn to understand his transition. Educating through entertainment is a common theme in his work.

Lewis is also co-founder of 'My Genderation', a creative non-profit organisation who celebrate trans lives through film and art.
