Ramzee

Ramzee is a London-based writer and cartoonist whose work spans comics, animation, theatre, and children's fiction. His debut highly illustrated novel, The Cheat Book Volume 1, has won the Leeds Book Award 2025, the James Reckitt Hull Children’s Book Award 2025, and the Lancashire School Library Service Fantastic Book Award 2026.

In comics, Ramzee was nominated for a British Comic Award in 2016 for his first comic, 'Zorse',  and co-created the second Spider-UK, Zarina Zahari, for Marvel Comics. He has also reinvented classic British comic characters, co-creating a new Cat Girl for Rebellion and a fresh take on Harlem Heroes for 2000 AD REGENED. His latest comic series, REX POWER, was published by 2000 AD in March 2026.

Whatever the medium, Ramzee loves telling funny, heartfelt stories that put characters and communities that are rarely seen at the centre of the action, bringing fresh perspectives to readers of all ages.
